CRIME REPORT 31 MAY

CASE OF NEGLIGENT ACT
1. Case FIR No. 89/12 dated 30/05/12 U/S 285 IPC has been registered
in P.S. Sundernagar on the written complaint of Sh. Basant Singh S/O
Sh. Pohlo Ram R/O Vill. Sohar PO Baroti Tehsil Sundernagar Distt.
Mandi that on 29/05/12 Prem Lal S/O Sh. Munshi Ram put on fire bushes
and grass etc. on his own land and after some time fire also spread to
the fields of the complainant due to which 5 tress of mango, three
tress of guava, ten trees of khair and 1000 bundles of grass were
brunt. Approximately loss of property in this incident was about
Rs.45000/-. ASI Gulab Singh I/C P.P. Dehar is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
2. Case FIR No. 90/12 dated 30/05/12 U/S 279,337 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Raj Kumar S/O
Sh. Chilu Ram R/O Bhour PO Kanaid Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that
on 30/05/12 he was present at Bhaur. In the mean time Hem Raj S/O Sh.
Ram Lal was going by his bicycle from Kanaid towards Nerchowk and a
M/Cycle (HP33A3242) came from Sundernagar side very rashly which hit
the bicycle of Hem Raj due to which he sustained injuries. ASI Jasbir
Singh I.O. of highway patrol Sundernagar is investigating the case.
ARREST OF ACCUSED IN PREVIOUS CASE
3. Accused Baldev Singh S/O Sh. Shankar & Bhagat Ram S/O Sh. Shankar
Dass R/O Vill. Bairi PO Khurahal Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi were
arrested on 30/05/12 at 08.30 PM by I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar Distt.
Mandi who were wanted in case FIR No. 80/12 dated 19/05/12 U/S 379,
411, 34 IPC.
CHALLAN
4. 134 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 13,300/- was recovered
under M.V. Act and 8 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of
Rs. 800/- was recovered during last 24 hours.

1. Case FIR No. 151/12 dated 29/05/12 U/S 3(X) of SC & ST Prevention of Atrocities Act & U/S 504,506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Hari Singh S/O Sh. Devi Ram R/O Vill. Badoha PO Kot Tungal Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 29/05/12 he was going to home by his tipper and when he reached at Bagla driver of his tipper Joju caught him and started to abuse him and also abused him by cast i.e. "daggi, dumna tum bade Pradhan bante ho" and also threatened to him with dire consequences. Mandi that on 29/05/12 he was going to his home and when he reached at Samlehar, in the mean time Diwakar obstructed his way and beat him and he sustained injuries on his head. CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT, ASSAULT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
5. Case FIR No. 125/12 dated 30/05/12 U/S 341,323,355,504,506 IPC has been regisrtered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Puneet Agrwal S/O Sh. Pawan Kumar R/O H.No. 303 Sector 12 Panchkula Tehsil & Distt. Panchkulla Haryana at present residing in a quarter at Jaral Colony Pandoh Distt. Mandi that on 30/05/12 at about 11.30 AM he along with his daughter were going to Mandi by his car and when they reached near Punjab School he saw that a vehicle (HP65-2505) was carrying material of shuttering and he asked about said material of shuttering that where it is to be taken. On this Ram Lal owner of above vehicle obstructed his way and beat him up. ASI Ram Lal I/C P.P. Pandoh is investigating the case.

CASE OF THEFT
1. Case FIR No. 88/12 dated 28/05/12 U/S 379 IPC has been registered
in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Smt. Raj Kumari W/O Sh. Nikka
Ram R/O Trot Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that on 23/05/12 she
parked her car (HP31C-0560) out side of her house. On 24/05/12 morning
she did not found her car at place of parking. Thereafter she along
with her family members searched out said car but they could not
traced out said car and she suspects that some unknown culprits stolen
away her above car. SI (Prob.) Sandeep Chaudhary I.O. of P.S.
Sundernagar is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, RIOTING, ABETTOR PRESENT WHEN OFFENCE IS
COMMITTED, OBSTRUCTING PUBLIC SERVANT IN DISCHARGE OF PUBLIC FUNCTION
AND INTIMIDATION
2. Case FIR No. 84/12 dated 28/05/12 U/S 341,143,147,114,186,504 IPC
has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar by Inspr. Bishan Dass SHO
P.S. Jogindernagar that he was present along with Sh. Rattan Singh SDM
Jogindernagar, Sh. Kali Dass SDPO Sarkaghat and other police officials
of P.S. Jogindernagr at Gandhi Vatika Jogindernagar in connection with
law & order duty due to on death hunger strike was organized by Sh.
Bhagat Ram, Smt. Neelma Devi and they were in critical condition due
to said hunger strike. M.O. of CH Jogindernagar examined them and he
opined that these need to be admitted at C.H. Jogindernagar
immediately. If there is any delay, mis happening can be happen. On
this ambulance 108 services were also provided by the police and local
administration for first aid but Ajay Dharwal vice chairman Nagar
Panchayat Jogindernagar, Jai Devi, Roshan Lal, Ranbir Singh, Tara
Chand, Yudhister, Devincer along with 3-4 ladies and gents instigated
the persons who were on chain hunger strike against the local
administration and police and also obstructed the local administration
and police to discharge their lawful duties, used un-parliamentary
language and also misbehaved with police and also locked the main gate
of Gandhi Vatika. Inspr. Bishan Dass SHO P.S. Jogindernagar is
investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
3. Case FIR No. 85/12 dated 29/05/12 U/S 279,337 IPC and 187 M.V. Act
has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Sh.
Gulab Singh S/O Sh. Bishru Ram R/O Approch Road PO Dull Tehsil
Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that today at about 07.45 AM he was
going to Dhelu along with other two persons namely Ram Lal and Bhag
Singh and when they reached near Railway Fatak, a scooter came very
rashly, struck with him and he sustained injuries. HC Raj Mal No. 875

4. Case FIR No. 86/12 dated 29/05/12 U/S 270/337 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Jogindernagar by HC Sanjeev Kumar No. 58 I.O. P.P.
Bassi that on receiving information of accident at Bailla he rushed to
the spot and found that a Tata Indica (HP01M-0489) fell downward from
the road about 150 feet due to rash and negligent driving by driver

CASE OF BURGLARY AND THEFT
5. Case FIR No. 150/12 dated 29/05/12 U/S 457,380 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Hari Singh S/O Sh.
Thakur Chand R/O Dhangu PO Ratti Distt. Mandi that during the
intervening night of 28-29/05/12 some unknown persons broke the door
of his house and stole away a computer, a mobile set and cash of worth
Rs. 10,000/- from the room of his house. Approximately cost of stolen
property is about Rs. 40,000/-. SI Chhota Ram I.O. of P.S. Balh is
investigating the case.
CASE OF HURT
6. Case FIR No. 63/12 dated 28/05/12 U/S 323, 325, 34 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of SH. Raju Ram S/O Sh.
Sohan Lal R/O Vill. Dadaur PO Dhawan Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on
14/05/12 he along withhis family were going to Shikwari Mata Temple
and at 10.30 PM when they reached at Gudah, Lehnu Ram S/O Sh. Bihanu
Ram R/O Dadaur, Jamana Devi D/O Sh. Dev R/O Vill. Dadaur along with
one another person beat him up and he sustained injures. ASI Roop
Singh I/C PP Janjehali is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
7. Case FIR No. 62/12 dated 28/05/12 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been
registered in P.S. Gohar by SI Pratap Singh SHO P.S. Gohar that on
28/05/12 at about 1.30 PM he was on patrolling along with other police
officials at Kutah he recovered 3000 ML English wine and 5250 ML
country liquor form the possession of Gopal Singh S/O Sh. Jassa Ram
Village Lahassi PO Janjehli Teshil Thunag Distt Mandi HP. Accused has
been arrested further investigation of the case is being carried out
by SI Pratap Singh SHO P.S. Gohar.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
8. Case FIR No. 132/12 dated 29/05/12 U/S 279/337 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Desh Raj S/O Sh.
Sudama Ram R/O Garli PO Gharwasra Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP)
that today at about 12.30 PM he was waiting for bus at Bus Stand
Sarkaghat, in the mean time a bus (HP28B-7501) which was driven by
Jagdish Chand and another bus (HP28A-1407) which was driven by driver
Dhani Ram were pressed to him between the both buses and he sustained
injuries. ASI Mohinder Singh I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating
the case.

9. Case FIR No 123/12 date 29/05/12 U/S 379 IPC has been registered in
P.S. Sadar Mndi on the written complaint of Sh. Kuldeep Singh S/O Sh.
Kapoor Singh R/O Vill. Chadyana PO Dadaur Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi
that on 27/05/12 he parked his scooter (HP33-4559) out side of his
house and next day morning he did not found his above scooter at the
place of parking. HC Balam Ram I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is
investigating the case.
CASE OF PREVENTION OF DAMAGE TO PUBLIC PROPERTY ACT
10. Case FIR No. 124/12 dated 29/05/12 U/S 3 of Prevention of Damage
to Public Property Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the
complaint of Asstt. Engineer Bridge Construction Sub Division H.P.
P.W.D. Kamand that their departmental JCB (HP33B-9817) was sent for
maintenance work of road at Neri Dukhi Bihandhar Gharan Road but
operator of said JCB Sh. Bhim Singh reported that Smt. Sharifa W/O Sh.
Barkat Ali and Barkat Ali has stopped above JCB and damaged four
glasses of left and right sides of said JCB. ASI Ram Lal I.O. of P.S.

1. Case FIR No. 120/12 dated 28/05/12 U/S 406 IPC has been registered
in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the written complaint of Sh. Dinesh Kumar
Sharma, Class- "A" Govt. Contractor –cum- Managing Director of M/S
Dinesh Kumar & Co. Mandi (HP) that Surender Singh S/O Late Sh. Dharam
Singh R/O 566 Sector 21 Panchkula (Haryana) hired from him a Tata
Hitachi-110 Excavator having Sr. No. 1101-1691 on the basis of monthly
charges but till now above Surender Singh neither returned his above
machine nor paid any rent. ASI Amar Nath I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is
investigating the case.

his wife came on the spot, damaged the d the construction work,
abused him and his family and also threatened to them with dire

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
1. Case FIR No. 49/12 dated 26/05/12 U/S 279,337 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Padhar by HC Kuldeep Singh No. 148 that he received
telephonic information that an accident took place at Tandu. On
receiving this information he visited the spot and found that a
M/Cycle (HP76-0648) ridden by Satish Kumar and a santro car
(HP28-3411) driven by Ashok Kumar collided with each other at Tandu
due to rash and negligent driving of above both persons and rider of
M/Cycle Satish Kumar sustained injuries. HC Kuldeep Kumar I.O. of P.S.

Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by ASI Brij Lal I.O. of
P.S. Sadar Mandi that on 26/05/12 at about 10.15 PM he was on traffic
checking along with other police officials and during the course of
checking of a Volvo Bus (HP01-3569) near check post at Bindrabani he
recovered 17 bags of herbs (Nag Chhatri) from the dickey of above bus
which was possessed by Norjing S/O Sh. Pamu R/O VPO Poru Tehsil Mungo
Distt. Jumla Nepal. Accused has been arrested and further
investigation of the case is on progress which is being carried out by
ASI Brij Lal I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi.

registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Kumari Lata D/O Sh.
Hem Singh R/O Vill. Jaloun PO Baryara Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that
on 26/05/12 at about 09.30 PM she was doing her school work, in the
mean time her sister-in-law (Bhabhi) Bhawna Devi and her aunt (Tai)
Lajja Devi were quarreling with themselves. On this he went to there
and Bhawna Devi beat her up and she sustained injuries. HC Rajmal No.

courtyard and beat him up along with his mother and they sustained

CASE OF NDPS ACT
1. Case FIR No. 82/12 dated 25/05/12 U/S 20, 29 of NDPS Act is
registered in P.S. Jogindernagar by ASI Sat Pal that on 25/05/12 he
was on traffic checking along with other police officials and during
the course of checking of traffic he recovered 850 Gram cannabis
(charas) from a car (HP01M-0992) which was possessed by Mohan Singh
S/O Sh. Karam Singh R/O Sagnal PO Ropa Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi &
Harish Kumar S/O Sh. Mool Raj R/O Bagha PO Urla Tehsil Padhar Distt.
Mandi. Both accused have been arrested and further investigation of
the case is being carried out by ASI Sat Pal I/C PP Ghatta.

2. Case FIR No. 61/12 dated 26/05/12 U/S 279,337 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Mohender Kumar S/O
Sh. Padma Nand R/O Vill. Chuhani PO Ghiri Tehsil Sundernagar Distt.
Mandi that on 26/05/12 he was coming from Jhiri towards Kullu by a
vehicle (HP67-2755) Mahindra Bolero and when he reached at Chhaprahan
a M/Cycle (HP33B-3183) came from Pandoh side very rashly and struck
with his vehicle due to which rider Balak Ram along with another

Mandi that Lalit Kumar S/O Sh. Hem Raj R/O Jai Devi, Ajay Kumar and
Palu obstructed his way at Jai Devi and they beat him up. ASI Trilok

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
5. Case FIR No. 116/12 dated 26/05/12 U/S 279,337 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Sunil Kumar
Constable No. 437 3rd I.R. Bn. Jangal Bairi at present posted as guard
duty at Pandoh Dam Mandi. During the intervening night of 25-26/05/12
he was on sentry duty from 11 PM to 2 AM and at about 11.45 PM a bus
(HR66-7635) of Haryana Roadways came from Mandi side towards Kullu,
driver of said bus stopped the bus to drop the passengers for a moment

Mandi that on 26/05/12 he was coming from Jhiri towards Kullu by a

Constable No. 437 3rd I.R. Bn. Jangal Bairi at present posted as guard
duty at Pandoh Dam Mandi. During the intervening night of 25-26/05/12
he was on sentry duty from 11 PM to 2 AM and at about 11.45 PM a bus
(HR66-7635) of Haryana Roadways came from Mandi side towards Kullu,
driver of said bus stopped the bus to drop the passengers for a moment
and take off the bus quickly in high speed towards Kullu. A passenger

CASE OF MURDER
1.      Case FIR No 85/12 dated 24/05/12 U/S 302,201,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Fateh Singh S/O Late Sh. Kamlu Ram R/O village Bhalwani PO Galma Tehsil Sadar Distt Mandi that he has four brothers and one sister and  all of they have been married and they are residing separately. His elder brother Chand Lal @ Shankar's son Hans Raj @ Rishu working as a “Gur” in a temple at his home and said Hans Raj @ Rishu was living with one lady namely Smt. Gangi Devi W/O Sh. Jalam Ram R/O Bhalwani  which  is always objectionable to his father Chand Lal @ Shankar.  On 04/05/12 he went to Parour at Palampur to attend religious affairs i.e. “Radha Swami Satsang” and returned back from there on 06/05/12. On reaching his native place Smt. Rajni Nayak Pradhan local Gram Panchayat told him that his brother Chand Lal @ Shankar is missing  and missing report has already been lodged in P.S. Balh by his son Hans Raj @ Rishu. On 10/05/12 dead body of his brother namely Chand Lal @ Shankar was found in BBMB lake Sundernagar which is identifed by him and his brothers Paul Singh and Mohan Lal. Now he doubts that his nephew Hans Raj @ Rishu and his friend Suraj S/O Kashmir Singh R/O Dadour murdered his brother and there after they threw his dead body in BBMB lake. Dhelu PO Dohag Tehsil Jogindenagar Distt.Mandi H.P that today he was reading newspaper at his home. In the mean time a M/Cycle (HP 29A 1941) came from Jogindernagar side and struck with a  stone on the road side and rider of said M/Cycle fell down and sustained injuries. CASE OF DEATH DUE TO DROWNING IN WATER

4. Today one Kashori Lal posted as fitter in Larji Dam informed to P.S. Aut that one unknown dead body is floating in Larji Dam. On receiving this information SHO P.S. Aut along with other police officials visited the spot and during the course of inquiry he recovered dead of one unknown male person from the gate No. 3 of the dam who was in the age group of between 35 to 40 years. Postmortem of the dead body was carried out at Z.H. Mandi and proceeding U/S 174 Cr.P.C has been carried out by the local police of P.S. Aut.

Paras Ram R/O village Gadhachh PO Rakol Sub Tehsil Nihari Distt Mandi (HP) that on 19/05/12 he was working as labourer in primary School Gadhachh at 5 pm after leaving his work he was going to his home and when he reached near the house of Sh. Bhagat Ram he heard some noise and he went there and saw Kaula Ram S/O Sh. Bhagat Ram Vill. Gadhachh was carrying a stone in his hand and threatening his parents. On this all resident of the locality also came there, they caught above Kaula Ram and brought him to his room and there said Kaula Ram revealed out that he threw his 3 years old son Sunil Kumar from Odidhar. On this he went along with other villagers to Odidhar and saw that Sunil Kumar S/O Sh. Kaula Ram was found dead near about 300 feet down on a hill slope at Odidhar. 1. 36 Drunken Drivers were challaned using alcosensors in Mandi district yesterday. This is a record figure considering the fact that around 100 drunken driving challans were issued in entire year of 2011. The maximum 12 Challans were issued by SHO Aut SI Anil.

Bishamber Dutt VPO Sarhan Tehsil PS Karsog Distt Mandi (H..P) that she is a student of +2 in School Tevan on 10/5/12 She was Coming from School along with her sister Gira Devi and other girl Kritika Kapoor. At about 3.30 PM when they reached at Place Shishvi Dhar (Sarhan) one vehicle No( HP 14T- 5745) came from Kotalu side driven by Harish Kumar village Khamanu very rashly and hit the girl Karitka Kapoor due to which she died on spot . 5. Case FIR No 71/12 dated 10/5/12 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS Sundernagar on the complaint of of Hari Singh S/O Gusain Ram R/O Chhater P/O Jugahan Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that on 10/5/12 he was coming from Nerchowk on the M/Cycle No (HP31A-3069). At about 4.00 P.M. When he reached near Chhater in the mean time M/Cycle No.( HP31A-5706 )also caming from Nerchowk side very rashly and hit his M/Cycle. The M/Cycle was driven by the Santosh Kumar S/O Durga Dass R/O Tarot P/O Kanaid Tehsil and P.S. Sundernagar distt. Mandi. Karam Singh R/O Thuji PO Barot has been arrested in case FIR No 46/12 dated 9/5/12 U/S 452,354,323,506 IPC and he will beproduced in the Court of LD CJM Mandi today.

Mandi owner of Career Development, Marwah Complex Bhangrotu that today morning he opened his office and he saw that back door of his house was broken and computer along with other accessories, water lifting pump and toolkit of his car was stolen away by some unknown persons from his office during the intervening night of 09-10/05/12. Approximately value of stolen property is about Rs. 30,0000/-. Above stolen property was recovered from accused Varun @ Niju S/O Sh. Ramesh Chand R/O Chak-Ka-Goahr PO Bhangrotu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi and he was arrested in this case by ASI Karam Singh I.O. of P.S. Balh who is investigating this case.

CRIME REPORT 9 MAY

CASE OF NDPS ACT

1. Case FIR No. 51/12 dated 09/05/12 U/S 20-61-85 NDPS Act has been
registered in P.S. Aut by SI Anil Kumar SHO of P.S. Aut that today at
about 09.30 AM he laid a nakka along with other police officials at
Aathara Peda near Shani Mandir and during the course of nakka a HRTC
bus (HP66-1370) came from Mandi side which was bound from Delhi to
Manali. During the course of checking of above bus he recovered 6 gram
cannabis (Charas) from the possession of Donovan Krish Farnadis S/O
Sh. Lues Farnadis R/O Bilson Garden Gali No. 8 Block No. 9 Agadi
Hospital House No. 4 Distt. Uddupi (Karnataka). Above accused was
arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by
SI Anil Kumar SHO P.S. Aut.

CASE OF ROAD ACCINDENT

2. Case FIR 59/12 dated 09/05/12 U/S 279,337,304A IPC has been
registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Amar Chand S/O Sh.
Nant Ram R/O Suran PO Segali Tehsil Padhar Distt Mandi that today
at about 8 AM he boarded a private bus (HP33-7381) of Anjali bus
service which was bound from Kulthani to Mandi. Near about 60/65
person were already sitting in said bus and when said bus reached at
Kachal nullah, driver of said bus lost control over it and it rolled
down about 150 meters downward. Two occupants died on the spot and
other sustained injuries. ASI Roop Singh Incharge P.P. Janjehali is
investigating the case.

registered in P.S. Karsog on the report of Sh. Duni Chand S/O Sh.

bus No. (HP 07-5472) of HRTC Depot Shimla-3 Sub Depot Karsog which
was on its way from Tattapani to Karsog Via Roudidhar Kandha rolled

bus and Sat Pal S/O Sh. Hem Chand. village Thogi PO Tattapani Tehsil
Karsog Distt Mandi (HP) (conductor of bus) died on the spot. ASI Om

4. Case FIR No. 140/12 dated 09/05/12 U/S 279,337 IPC and 187 M.V. Act
has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Ashok Kumar
S/O Sh. Kanaiya Lal R/O Kathera PO Bahanvi Tehsil Bhoranj Distt.
Hamirpur that he is serving as Chowkidar in Block Office Balh. Today
he was going to his quarter along with his wife Salochna Devi and when
they reached near block office a M/Cycle (HP31-7670) came from Ratti
side and hit his wife Salochna Devi who fell down on the road and

5. A Case FIR No. 76/1 dated 08/05/12 U/S 283 IPC has been registered
by ASI ASI Om Prakash I/O P.S. Karsog that on 08/05/12 at about 6.00
PM he along with other police officials were on patrolling at Churag
and during the course of patrolling he found that Het Ram S/O Sh.
Kanhia Lal VPO Churag Tehsil Karsog had kept the sand on the road
which is causing obstruction to the general public and traffic. ASI

in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Shyam Lal S/O Sh. Ruldu Ram
R/O Vill. Dhelu Har Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi that about two
months ago Rakesh Giri Maharaj told him that he had sent many persons
to abroad. On this Shyam Lal told him that he also wants to send his
son to abroad and he paid sum of Rs. 4 lac to Rakesh Giri Maharaj and
since 28/04/12 till date said Rakesh Giri Maharaj has been
absconding. SI (Prob.) Sakini Kapoor is I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar is
investigating the case.

BUS ACCIDENTS

1. TODAY ON  09/05/2012 ONE PRIVATE  BUS (ANJALI BUS )BEARING  REGISTRATION NO. HP-33-7381CARRYING 65-70 PERSON INCLUDING  DRIVER AND CONDUCTOR WHICH  WAS ON ITS WAY FROM KULTHANI TO MANDI. AT ABOUT 0830HRS WHEN BUS  REACHED  AT  KAJEHAL NALLAH NEAR KAYOLI,  BUS ROLLED  DOWN  FROM  THE  ROAD  IN A DEEP  GORGE ABOUT  100 METER, DUE TO WHICH TWO PERSON DIED ON THE WAY TO HOSPITAL, WHILE OTHER 60 INJURED ARE ADMITTED  IN CHC THUNAG, 06 INJURED WERE REFERRED TO ZH MANDI (.) SDM & SHO GOHAR ALONG WITH STAFF IMMEDIATELY RUSHED TO THE SPOT AND STARTED RESCUE OPERATION WITH THE HELP OF LOCAL PEOPLE AND ARE INQUIRING THE MATTER.


2. ONE HRTC BUS (SHIMLA DEPOT) BEARING  REGISTRATION NO.HP-07-5472 CARRYING 05 PERSON INCLUDING  DRIVER AND CONDUCTOR WHICH  WAS ON ITS WAY FROM TATAPANI TO KANDA. AT ABOUT 0930 HRS WHEN BUS  REACHED  AT  RODIDHAR, SUDDENLY  ROLLED  DOWN  FROM  THE  ROAD  IN A DEEP  GORGE ABOUT  400 METER, DUE TO WHICH ALL THE PASSENGERS INCLUDING DRIVER AND CONDUCTOR DIED ON THE SPOT (.) SDM & SHO KARSOG ALONG WITH STAFF IMMEDIATELY RUSHED TO THE SPOT AND STARTED RESCUE OPERATION WITH THE HELP OF LOCAL PEOPLE AND ARE INQUIRING THE MATTER.

CASE OF NDPS ACT

Case FIR No. 69/12 dated 08/05/12 U/S 20-61-85 NDPS Act has been
registered in P.S. Sundernagar by SI Madan Lal I/O of P.S. Sundernagar
that today at about 1.30 PM he was on patrolling alongwith other
police officials at Ropa near Bus stand Sundernagar and during the
course of patrolling he saw that a lady was sitting in front of Negi
Fast Food shop and on seeing police party said lady entered inside the
shop and threw a polythene bag outside the shop. He checked the above
bag and recovered 2 gram cannabis(charas) from above polythene bag.
During the course of investigation she revealed out her name as
Parwati Devi D/O Sh. Palzor R/O Ambedkar Nagar PO Bhojpur Tehsil
Sundernagar Distt. Mandi. Accused has been arrested and further
investigation of the case is being carried out by SI Madan Lal I.O. of
P.S. Sundernagar.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

Case FIR No. 44/12 dated 07/05/12 U/S 279,337,304A IPC has been
registered in P.S. Padhar on the complaint of Sh. Mohan Singh Thakur
S/O Sh. Lekh Ram R/O Village Shasti PO Urla Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi
that on 07/05/12 at about 7.00 PM he was going towards Padhar along
with Tek Singh S/O Sh. Puran Chand R/O Vill Kolthi PO Urla Tehsil
Padhar and when they reached at place Kashyan Nalla, in the mean time
a car (HP37A-2142) came very rashly and negligently from
Jogindernagar side towards Mandi and fell down in a deep gorge about
200 mtrs downwards. Three occupants namely Sh. Sahil S/O Sh. Satish
Kumar Vill. Kothi Bilaspur, Sh. Surai Gadi S/O Sh. Ravi Kumar R/O
H.No. 148 Housing Board Colony Baddi and Shuritika D/O Sh. Ravi
Verma R/O Choppati Bandla Palampur Distt. Kangra died on the spot and
Sh. Shidarth S/O Sh. Dharam Singh R/O Palampur sustained injuries in
this mishap. ASI Charan Singh I.O. of PS Padhar is investigating the
case.

Case FIR No. 75/12 dated 07/05/12 U/S 451, 323,34 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Karsog on the complain of Sh. Hans Raj S/O Sh.
Shukru R/O Vill. Derat PO Mahog Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi that on
07/05/12 Smt. Bimla Devi W/O Sh. Kishori Lal R/O Vill. Tharmi PO
Gawalour entered in his house along with his son Dharam Dass,
daughter-in-laws Shakuntla Devi and Sumitra Devi and they all beat him
up along with his wife and daughter-in-law Kalavati. ASI Amar Singh

CASE OF ATTEMPT TO COMMIT SUICIDE

Case FIR No. 69/12 date 08/05/12 U/S 309 IPC has been registered in
P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Shiwani D/O Sh. Ram Kumar R/O
Vill. Jatehar PO Bag Tehsil Ladbharol Distt. Mandi that during the
intervening night of 07-08/05/12 her mother Meena Devi had tried to
commit the suicide due to harassment by her neighbourer Asha Devi. ASI

Om Dutt R/O Vill. Dolgi PO Galma Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that her
husband expired about 4 years ago and her father-in-law pressed her
every time for sexual relationship. On 04/05/12 at about 10 AM she was
alone in her bedroom and her father-in-law entered in her room and

her husband went out side and came in drunken condition after some
time Naraynu Ram, Dahlu Ram and Jawahar Singh entered in her house
and started abusing when she and her daughter in law Neelam Devi
came there they beat her up along with her daughter in law. HC Lal

Case FIR No. 138/12 dated 07/05/12 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 M.V. Act
has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Ranjan Kumar
S/O Sh. Pratap Singh R/O Gharwan PO Kotli Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi
that on 07/05/12 he was coming from Shimla to Mandi by his jeep
(HP65-2551) and when he reached at Bagla, a truck (HP64A-7019) came
from Mandi side very rashly and hit his jeep due to which he along
with another occupant namely Pushp Raj sustained injuries. ASI

CASE OF POISONING

M.O. of C.H. Sundernagar informed telephonically to P.S. Balh that
Kumari Sapna D/O Hukam Chand R/O Gharwasra PO Baggi who was admitted
in C.H. Sundernagar reported in her statement that she was suffering
from fever and by mistake she has consumed poison in place of
medicine.

at Dharampur, Ganga Ram S/O Sh Narain Singh R/O Chuharu-Ra-Balh
obstructed her way and beat her up and also threatened her. ASI Sushil
Kumar I/C PP Dharampur is investigating the case.

CHALLANS

122 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 16,200/- was recovered under
M.V. Act, 12 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 1200/-
was recovered and 2 challans were issued under Mining Act during last
