PRESS RELEASE ON 16 JULY

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

1. Case FIR No. 220/14 dated 16/07/14 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Karam Singh S/O Sh. Narotam Singh R/O Naina PO Talyahar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 15/07/14 he along with his cousin Brestu Ram were going to Nerchowk by their scooty (HP33A-3855) and when they reached near Chakkar he lost control over it and his scooty struck with a tipper (HP56-4909) and they sustained injuries. HC Vijay Kumar No. 866 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

CASE OF HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

2. Case FIR No. 75/14 dated 16/07/14 U/S 323,325,506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Smt. Pingla Devi W/O Sh. Khem Raj R/O Sanan PO Sayanj Bagra Tehsil Karsog Distt.Mandi that on 15/07/14 her husband her husband Khem Raj beat her up and she sustained injuries. HC Tej Singh No. 55 I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

CASE OF  CHEATING & FORGERY  

3. Case FIR No. 247/14 dated 15/07/14  U/S 419,420,467,468,471 IPC has been registered  in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Prem Singh R/O Village Bastala PO Naubahi Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi (HP) that a case of land dispute was under trail  in the Ld Court of Divisional Commissioner,  Mandi, and on 21/09/12 ACO Lekh Ram was deputed to his village for recording the statement of the complainant and his wife Soma Devi and  after recording the statement his wife Soma Devi signed her statement and he also signed on her statement as  witness after recording the statement of his wife. But some time after his  appeal dismissed from the Ld. Court of Divisional Commissioner Mandi as ACO Lekh Ram submitted a forged statement in the Ld court instead of original statement of his wife Soma Devi which come to his notice after taking the copy of the nakal and statement of his wife from the Ld. Court of Divisional Commissioner, Mandi.   ASI Shiv Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

4. AC136 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 24,300/- was recovered under M.V. Act and  6 challans were issued under COTPA  and fine of Rs. 600/-  was recovered  during last 24 hours.
