ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON ROAD ACCIDENT DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
1. Today a workshop organized in Police Lines Mandi on road accident data management system in which 51 police officials of this district participated. Faculties of Transport Research Laboratory, UK and their supporting staff delivered the lecture to the participants and they also familiarized them with new techniques for better road safety management system. This team will impart the training to the police officials in all police station of district Mandi for the next four days.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
2. Case FIR No. 125/14 dated 19/09/14 U/S 279, 337, 304 (A) IPC has been registered in P.S Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Noop Singh S/O Sh. Sunder Singh Garg PO Janjehli Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 18/09/14 at about 4:30 PM he was going to his home by his Scooter and when he reached near Balyandha More, in the mean time a Car(HP33T-9418) came very rashly from Jarol side which was driven by Bhup Singh S/O Sh. Devi Saran R/O Nihari PO Lambathach who was also accompanied by Tujender Kumar fell down from the road about 150 mtrs. downwards. In this mishap driver Bhup Singh died on the spot and Tujender Kumar sustained injuries. ASI Jeet Singh I/C of PP Janjehli is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
3. Case FIR No. 210/14 dated 18/09/14 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar by SI (Prob.) Kulwant I.O. of P.S. Sadar that he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials and during the course of patrolling he recovered 3750 ML Country liquor from the possession of Anurag S/O Sh. Inder Pal R/O Chanoun PO Sehali Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP). SI (Prob.) Kulwant Singh I.O. of P.S Sadar is investigating the case.CHALLAN
4. 206 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 30,700/- was recovered under M.V. Act and 9challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs. 900/- was recovered and 2 challans were issued under Mining Act and fine of Rs. 4550-/ was recovered during last 24 hours
