"A public hearing on the problems and grievances of scheduled castes of the states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and Union Territory of Chandigarh scheduled to be held on 29/10/14 to 31/10/14 by the National Human Rights Commission at Chandigarh now shall be held at Chandigarh on 26/11/2014 to 28/11/2014 instead of 29/10/2014 to 31/10/2014."

2. Case FIR No. 309/14 dated 1/09/14 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Basant Ram R/O Jukain PO Nabahi Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 01/09/14 Gopu S/O Sh. Narender R/O Tatahar & Balu R/O Barchwar obstructed his way and beat him up and he sustained injuries. 3. Case FIR No. 145/14 dated 1/09/14 U/S 498(A), 323, 504, 506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Smt. Renu Akhtar W/O Sh. Ibrahim R/O Bageni PO Nurpur Distt. Kangra(HP) that on 21/04/08 she was married with Ibrahim as per Muslim customs and rites. But after some time of her marriage her husband and his relatives started to harass her physically and mentally by demanding the dowry. On 19/08/14 during the course of marriage of her brother, her husband and his relatives beat her up and she sustained injuries and also threaten her with dire consequence. ASI Vinod Singh I/C of PP Lad- Bharol is investigating the case.

4. Case FIR No. 310/14 dated 2/09/14 U/S 420 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Mangal Singh S/O Sh. Mali Ram R/O Kanoohi PO Sandhole Distt. Mandi (HP) that Roshan Lal Sharma S/O Sh. Roop Lal R/O Sandhole set-up a verbal agreement between the complainant to provide the piece of land for the construction of mobile Tower. As per the agreement in lieu of above land he will paid Rs 5200/- per month as rent to the owners and he took Rs. 50,000/- from Magal Singh, Rs. 50,000/- from Kanshi Ram & Rs.22,500/- from Bhagmal as advance and there after he did not come back. 5. Case FIR No. 60/14 dated 1/09/14 U/S 451, 336, 504, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar on the complaint of Miss Bhima Devi D/O Sh. Budhi Singh R/O Kodas PO Paurakothi Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that on 31/09/14 at about 7:30 PM Smt. Mamta Devi came alongwith Jeet Ram R/O Kodas and entered in the courtyard of her home and pelted stone on her house and also threatened with dire consequence. HC Sanjeev Kumar No. 879 I.O. PS BSL Colony is investigating the case.

Chatter Singh R/O Ambedkar Nagar PO Bhojpur Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that she was married with Chatter Singh But after some time of her marriage her husband and her mother-in-law started to harass her physically and mentally and also demanding dowry and they also threatened her with dire consequence. 7. Case FIR No. 202/14 dated 02/09/14 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Smt. Radha Devi W/O Sh. Labh Singh R/O Dhandrash PO Kanaid Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 02/09/14 at about 9:30 AM Amar Dass came alongwith Tara Devi and Meena Devi, obstructed her way and beat her up and she sustained injuries. HC Pawan Kumar No. 919 I.O. PS Sundernagar is investigating the case.CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
206 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 31,700/- was recovered under M.V. Act and 6challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs. 700/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
