CRIME REPORT ON 21 OCT.

Sh.  Mohit Chawla, IPS  Mandi Police Chief acknowledges  the honesty of Head  Constable Brij Lal  No. 906 of  Mandi  Police  Who  is posted as  investigating officer in Traffic  Wing Mandi  who  show  honesty   to  return  the   missing purse  alongwith   ATM  cards as  well as  important documents and  cash of  worth  Rs. 1820/- to  the actual  owner. Above  said HC  also awarded  with  Rs. 200 /-

CASE OF NDPS ACT

1          Case FIR No. 254/14 dated 21/10/14  U/S 20 of  NDPS  Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar   by  ASI  Brij Lal  I/C of PP Slapper  that  today   he laid a nakka  alongwith other police officials  at  Slapper Bridge  and during the course of   checking of  Car (CH03A-6558)   he recovered  1Kg 100 gram  Charas (Cannabis) from the possession of car  driver Shiv   Kumar  S/O Sh.  Om Parkash   VPO  Chandimandir (Gagarbir) Tehsil Sadar Distt. Panchkulla.  Accused has been arrested and further investigation   is being carried out by  ASI Brij Lal  I/C of PP  Slapper.

CASE OF  EXCISE ACT

2          Case FIR No. 251/14  dated 20/10/14  U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar  by  SI   Surinder Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar  that  he was on patrolling  alongwith other  police officials at  Dhadharas  and  during  the course of patrolling he recoverd  5000 ML   Illicit Liquor from the possession of  Amar Lal  S/O Sh.  Bangali  Ram R/O  Dhadharas P.O. Kanaid Tehsil Sunderangar Distt. Mandi (HP) .  SI   Surinder Kumar  I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF  EXCISE ACT

3          Case FIR No. 252/14  dated 20/10/14  U/S 39 of HP  Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar  by  ASI  Shamsher Singh  I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar that on 20/10/14   he was on patrolling alongwith other police officlas  at  Khilra and  during the course of patrolling he recovered 10,500 ML  Country  Liquor  from the possession of  Smt.  Sarswati Devi  W/O Sh. Besar Singh  R/O Khilra P.O. Meramasit Tehsil  Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) ASI  Samsher Singh  I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

  CASE OF   EXCISE ACT

  4        Case FIR No. 253/14 dated 20/10/14 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S.  Sundernagar  by  ASI  Ram Lal  I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar  that he was on patrolling alongwith other police  officials  at  Jaral  and  during the course of patrolling he recovered  5000 ML  Illicit Liquor  from the possession of   Sanju  S/O Sh.  Dault   Ram  R/O  Jaral P.O.  Jugahan Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) .  ASI Ram Lal  I.O. of P.S.  Sundernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF PUBLIC SAFETY

5          Case FIR No. 80/14 dated 20/10/14  U/S 283 IPC  has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony  Sundernagar that  on 20/10/14   he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at  Dhanotu and  during the course of patrolling he  found that  a heap of logs  were laid by  Durgar Dass  S/O Sh. Jogal Ram  R/O Dhanotu P.O. Mahadev Tehsil Sundernagar  Distt.  Mandi (HP) on the  road   which  was  causing  obstruction  in the traffic  as well as general public. HC  Ravinder Singh  No. 863  I.O. of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.  

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

6          Case FIR No. 121/14 dated 21/10/14  U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of  Sh. Ashwani Kumar  S/O Sh. Dalpat Ram R/O  Noga P.O.  Medi Tehsil Karsog  Distt. Mandi (HP)  that  today  he alongwith  Govind  were   coming towards  Mandi    by  Truck(HP33A-2490) and when they reached neat Hanogi , in the mean time  Tipper(HP65-4346) which was driven by Deep  Kumar ,  came rashly  from Mandi side   and hit his  Truck and  driver of   said  Tipper sustained injuries.  ASI Chaman  Lal  I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

 

CHALLAN

7        185 Challans were issued and fine of Rs. 23,800 /- was recovered under M.V. Act and 8challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs. 800/- was recovered  and  4 challans were  issued under Mining  Act   and fine of Rs. 32,100/-  recovered during last 24 hours.
