ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON "PROTECTION OF CHILD RIGHTS"
1 Today Mandi Police organized one day sensitization workshop on the Topic "Protection of Child Right with special reference to Section 39 of POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offence) Act" at Kamaksha Hall, Police Lines Mandi and opening remarks delivered by Sh. Arjit Sen Thakur ,IPS, ASP Mandi . Total 27 Police officials of this District participated said workshop. Sh. Rajesh Kumar, HPS Dy.S.P.(HQ), Sh. Kulbhushan Guatam Law Officer and Sh. Chet Singh SHO P.S. Sadar also apprised to the participants on said Topic.
CASE OF ND&PS ACT
Case FIR No. 37/16 dated 05/02/16 U/S 20 of ND&PS Act has been registered in PS Sadar Mandi by HC Jagdish Chand that on 05/02/16 he was on Nakabandi along with other police officials at NH-21 near Pandoh Dam and during the course of Nakabandi he recovered 310 Gms. Charas from the possession of Manjunath S/O Sh Rajapa R/O 6th Block 18th G Main Kor Mangla, Bangalore (Karnataka). HC Jagdish Chand I/O PP Pandoh is investigating the case.
CASE OF ND&PS ACT
Case FIR No. 15/16 dated 05/02/16 U/S 15 of ND&PS Act has been registered at PS Dharampur by SI Praveen Kumar that on 06/02/16 at 2:10 PM he along with staff was on Nakka duty at Kanchimore, in the mean time a vehicle (PB 10CB- 6245) came from Joginder Nagar side, which was stopped and checked by them. During checking 54Kgs.342 Grams Poppy husk recovered in above vehicle which has been transported by Amrik Singh S/O Sh. Suchha Singh, VPO Dharampur, Tehsil Haroli District Una. Above accused has been arrested. SI Praveen Kumar SHO PS Dharampur is investigating the case.
CASE OF (PREVENTION OF ATROCITIES ACT)
Case FIR No. 21/16 dated 06/02/16 U/S 3(X) SC & ST Act & 504,506,34 IPC has been registered in PS Gohar on the complaint of Smt. Jassi Devi W/O Sh. Chaman Lal R/O Kutah, PO Janjehli, Tehsil Thunag, Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 03/02/16 at about 11:30 AM she was present at PP Janjehli in the mean time Hem Raj Sharma S/O Shianu Ram, Khem Raj Sharma S/O Kanshi Ram, R/O Janjehli and 26 other persons came there and abused her by calling caste . They also threatened her with dire consequences. SI/SHO Lal Singh is investigating the case.
CASE OF OFFENCE RELATING TO RELIGION
Case FIR No. 34/16 dated 06/02/16 U/S 295A, 504,506 IPC has been registered in PS Balh on the complaint of Sh. Balbir Singh S/O Sh. Vatan Singh R/O VPO Ratti Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (HP) that he is a laborer and on 06/02/16 at about 10:30 AM he was working in the home of Ram Singh S/O Mohan Singh R/O VPO Ratti, in the mean time Narender Kumar came there and threw his turban and insulted his religious feelings. He also abused and threatened him with dire consequences. ASI Jagdish Kumar I/O PS Balh is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
Case FIR No. 14/16 dated 05/02/16 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in PS Dharampur, on the complaint of Sh. Suresh Kumar S/O Sh. Prem Singh R/O Deudhan, PO Talyahar, Tehsil Sadar Mandi (HP) that on 05/02/16 he along with his friends were going to Kamlah Temple by a car No.HP01M-2221, when they reached at Maloun the driver of car lost the control over it and fell down from the road, as a result of which they got injured. ASI Kamlesh Kumar I/O PS Dharampur is investigating the case.
CHALLANS
275 Challans were issued under M.V.Act and fine of Rs. 41000/- was recovered and 14 Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 1400/- was recovered and 07 Challans were issued under Mining Act and fine of Rs. 8200/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
