MONTHLY JOINT CONSULTANCY COMMITTEE-CUM-CRIME MEETING


  1. Today  Monthly  joint  Consultancy Committee-cum- Crime  Meeting  of District Police   Mandi   held   under the  chairmanship of  Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS  Superintendent of Police, District   Mandi  (HP)  at  Police Lines  Mandi  in which  all the  gazetted  officers of Mandi Police i.e.  Sh. Kulbhsuhan Verma, HPS, Addl. S.P. Mandi, Sh. Arjit Sen Thakur, IPS, Asstt. Supdt.of  Police, Distt. Mandi  (HP), Sh. Sanjeev Bhatia, SDPO Sundernagar, Sh. Anil Dhaulta, HPS, SDPO Padhar   all SHOs of Mandi District, all I/C Police Posts of Mandi District, Incharge Traffic Wing  and  about 85 police  officials  of  Mandi Police  participated.   

During the Joint Consultancy-cum-Welfare Meeting, the Superintendent of  Police, Mandi  (HP)  addressed   the  welfare issues  of  police   personnel of the  district  and  issues pertaining to higher authorities/PHQ level   are being sent to the  concerned authorities to redress these issues accordingly.  

 During the course of Crime Meeting all cases which are pending  investigation for more than six months and more than one year were discussed comprehensively and necessary directions and guidelines were issued to all individuals to complete the investigation of these cases with utmost  priority and  put the challans in the courts immediately.

All cases of  burglary and theft were also discussed during said crime meeting comprehensively and necessary directions/guidelines were given to all  police personnel to nab the culprits   who are at large and   recover the stolen property. Investigation of all pending cases to be completed well in time and challans are to be put in the court immediately in view to reduce the pendency. 

 

Superintendent of Police, Mandi  also  directed  all  the Station  House  Officers and  Inchages   of all Police Posts of this district   to intensify the patrolling and  laid  nakkas  regularly   to  nab the culprits,  smugglers, suspects and detection work   need to be  increased.

The Superintendent of Police, Mandi  also directed to all SHOs and I/C P.Ps. that special campaign be launched to curb the illegal drug trade in this district to be continued  in future and  to enhance the detection work under NDPS Act, Mining Act & Excise Act. Enormous efforts are to be made to nab the main suppliers (kingpins) especially in NPDS cases. If required, financial investigation to be also carried out under the provision of NDPS Act.  Special emphasis be put on nabbing drug dealers so that school children/college students are not exposed to illicit drug trade.  

He also directed that necessary steps are to be taken to decrease the Road Accidents in their respective jurisdiction. 

 The Superintendent of Police, Mandi  Sh. Prem  Kumar  Thakur , IPS  also directed  to all  SOs, SHOs and Incharges of Police Posts of this district that  sincere  efforts  are to be  taken   to deal the  all cases  of missing/ abduction of children.

Further the Superintendent of Police, Mandi (HP) also directed that to be remain alert and vigil in view of ongoing  rainy season in view to meet out with any natural calamity/disaster and  respond immediately in case of any natural calamities/disastrous & flood  situations in their respective areas   being the first responder on natural calamities and disasters.  He is also directed that due to ongoing rainy seasons, if   any incident of land slide or flood is reported in the jurisdiction of  any Police Station /Police Post concerned SHO/IC P.P. will visit the spot immediately  to carry out the rescue operations without any failure/delay and report to be given to superior officers immediately.  

He is also directed to all Station House Officers,  Incharges of Police Posts & police officials that cordial relations are to be made with the general public. If required, necessary  assistance is to be taken from the general public and their representative to nab the culprits and reduce the crime.
