CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT AND DEATH DUE TO RASH AND NEGLIGENT ACT

1        Case FIR No. 87/16 dated  17/09/16  U/S 287,  337, 304 (A) IPC has been registered in P.S. Padhar on the complaint of Sh. Sanjeev Kumar S/O Sh. Bine Ram R/O  Daral PO Ralha Tehsil Aut District Mandi (HP) that  on 17/09/16  he  along with  his family members were coming by  Van (HP55-9295) from  Batheri towards Chhoti Kandhi. On the way he met with Govind Ram S/O Sh. Parvatu Ram R/O  Daral PO Ralha Tehsil Aut  District Mandi  (HP)  who was also on its way towards Chhotti-Kandi  along with   his family by another vehicle (HP34C-0894)  and when  they reached near Kandhi Nala, in the mean time  Govind  Ram lost   control on his vehicle  due to rash and negligent driving   and  said vehicle (HP34C-0894) fell downward from the road. In this incident  driver Govind  Ram, his wife  namely Reena and  their  child Lucky aged 4 years old  sustained injuries and later on  during the course of treatment M.O. CHC Kataula  declared their  child  Lucky  aged 4 brought dead.   ASI  Chattar Singh  I/C of PP Kamand is investigating the case.  

CASE OF NDPS ACT

2        Case FIR No. 253/16 dated 18/09/16 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S.  Balh  by  SI  Vijay  Kumar I.O. of P.S. Balh that during the intervening  night of  17-18/09/16  he laid  a nakka  alongwith other  police officials   and during  the  checking of a   HRTC Bus (HP18B-6496)   which  was on its route  from  Manali to  Dehradoon,  he recovered 84  Gram Charas( Cannabis) from the possession of  Chunni Lal  S/O Sh. Budh Ram R/O Kasladi Pini  PO  Kasladi Tehsil Bunter  District Kullu (HP) aged 41 years old . Accused has been arrested and  further investigation is being carried  out by  SI  Vijay  Kumar I.O. of P.S. Balh .

CASE  OF  ROAD  ACCIDENT

3        Case FIR No. 252/16 dated 17/09/16  U/S 279, 337  IPC  has been registered in  P.S. Balh on the complaint of  Sh. Bharat Bhushan S/O Sh. Bhup Singh  Gupta R/O  Bhangrotu  Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that on 17/09/16  he was  present in his shop, in the mean time a Car(HP-33D-3051)  turned  suddenly  toward link  road  near  Bhangrotu  bridge  and collided  with  a Motor Cycle( PB02BF-5222)  as result   rider   as a result rider alongwith  pillion rider of  said  Motor Cycle  sustained injuries.  ASI  Shamsher Singh  I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.               

CASE OF  EXCISE ACT

4        Case  FIR No. 161/16 dated 17/09/16 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered  in P.S.  Jogindernagar  by ASI  Ashok Kumar I/C of PP  Bassi that he  was on  patrolling along with other police officials  at  Kyona and during the course of patrolling he  recovered  6 Bottles of  Country Liquor  from the possession of  Ramesh Chand S/O Sh. Jambal Singh R/O  Kyona PO  Chimhanu Tehsil Jogindernagar District Mandi (HP). ASI   Ashok Kumar   I/C of PP Bassi is investigating the case.

CASE OF RASH AND NEGLIGENT  ACT

5        Case FIR No. 239/16 dated 18/09/16 U/S 304(A) IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar on the complaint of Sh.  Bhawan Kumar S/O Sh.  Nirat Ram R/O Barogla PO Katindhi  District  Mandi  (HP) that on 15/09/16 his wife   namely Smt. Promila Devi aged 29 years old was pregnant and she was  admitted to  Zonal Hospital Mandi.   During  the intervening night  of 17-18/09/16  his wife  was shifted  from ward to labour room  and  staff  members who were on duty told him that  his wife is fine. But  early in  morning he came to know that his  wife  was died. He suspects that this  incident occurred  due  negligence of staff  members who were on duty in labour room of Z.H. Mandi . ASI  Anand  Kishore  I/C of PP  City is investigating the case.  

CHALLAN

6        278 Challans were issued under M.V. Act and fine of Rs. 48,500/- was recovered and 14 Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 1400 /- was recovered and 01 Challan was issued during last 24 hours.
