CRIME REPORT ON 02 SEP

       RUN AGAINST DRUGS-2016, ORGANIZED BY MANDI POLICE 

1.      To aware the masses and save the young generation from the menace of drugs, Mandi Police is going to organize Run Against Drugs on 04/09/2016 for all residents of Mandi district. Registration is open. There will be two counter for registration, one at S.P. office Mandi and second at P.L. Mandi. Entry forms are available on these both counters.

            Prize money for male category is  as below :-

1.  1st Prize= Rs. 3,000/-

2. 2nd Prize = Rs.2,000/-

3. 3rd Prize= Rs. 1,000/-

 

Prize money  for female category is as below:-

1. 1st Prize= Rs. 3,000/-

2. 2nd Prize = Rs.2,000/-

3. 3rd Prize= Rs. 1,000/-

Reporting time is 6.30 AM at Seri Manch and flagging off time is 7.30 AM followed

by refreshment at Seri Manch.

 

Route for said run is as "Seri Manch-Telephone Exchange-Ashoka Dhaba-AirTel Office-Azad Dry Cleaners-Gandhi Chowk, Chauhatta Bazaar-Moti Bazaar-Samkhetar-Girls School Mandi-Victoria Bridge and return back from same route to Seri Manch Mandi i.e. Victoria Bridge-Girls School Mandi-Samkhetar-Moti  Bazaar- Chauhata Bazaar-Seri Manch".

CASE OF  EXCISE ACT

2.      Case FIR No. 125/16 dated 01/09/16 U/S  39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S.  Karsog by  SI  Sunil  Kumar SHO of P.S. Karsog that   during  the special  campaign  of checking  Hotels & Dhaba, he recovered  750   ML Illicit  Liquor  from the possession of  Hari Singh  S/O Sh. Prithvi Singh  R/O  Bag Shalana PO Karsog District Mandi (HP).  SI  Sunil  Kumar   SHO of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

 CASE OF EXCISE ACT

3.       Case FIR No.  126/16 dated 01/09/16 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Karsog  by  ASI  Mohan Joshi  that   during the special  campaign  of checking   Hotel & Dhabas he  recovered  350 ML  illicit liquor  from the possession of  Nitin Sharma, owner of  Hotel  Evergreen at Karsog.  ASI  Mohan Joshi  I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, RAPE, HURT & CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION AND UNDER POCSO ACT

4.      Case FIR No. 237/16 dated 01/09/2016 U/S 341,376,323,506 IPC and U/S 4 of POCSO Act has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of a minor girl resident of  Balh area that she is studying in 10+1 class and  on 01/09/2016 when she was coming back from school to her home on the way Tarun S/O Sh. Sohan Lal R/O Gaggal obstructed her way, raped her and also beat her up. Accused Tarun Kumar has been arrested and he is produced before the Ld. Court and Ld. Court  granted  3 days  police remand. SI Jia Lal I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

CASE OF  OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT

5.      Case FIR No. 238/16 dated 01/09/16 U/S 341,  323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Chaman Lal Sharma S/O Sh. Mehar Chand R/O  Ganai PO  Chailchowk Tehsil Chachiot  District Mandi (HP) that on 01/09/16  he was  coming  back to  his home  and when reached near  Dadour, in the mean time  a person namely  Manu  resident of  Dadour   came there,  obstructed his  way  and beat  him up and he  sustained injuries.   ASI  Rajender Thakur  I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

 CASE  OF  KIDNAPPING

6.      Case FIR  No.  250/16 date4d 02/09/16 U/S 363, 366  IPC has been registered in P.S.  Sarkaghat on the  a person  R/O  Jukain PO   Nabahi  Tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi (HP) that  his daughter is missing since  31/08/16  and he  suspect that  Vicky  S/O Sh. Prittam Singh R/O  Daira PO  Hatwar Tehsil Ghurmarwin District Bilaspur kidnapped  his   daughter with   the intention  to marry  with her. S.I. Manmohan Singh I.O. of  P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the  case.  

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

7.      Case  FIR No.  249/16  dated  01/09/16 U/S 279, 337  IPC has   been registered  in  P.S. Sarkaghat  on the complaint of Sh. Prikshit Sharma S/O Sh. Anil Kumar R/O  Lukuna PO  Khalardu Tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi (HP) that  on 01/09/16  he was  going towards Sarkaghat  by his  Motor Cycle(CH01AJ-5744), in the mean time  a another Motor Cycle (HP33A-1030)  which was driven by  Biitu   came rashly and negligently    from Nabahi side and  hit his Motor Cycle.  SI  Karanjeet Singh  I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

CASE  OF  CRIMINAL TRESPASS, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

8.      Case FIR No. 227/16 dated 01/09/16 U/S 451, 504, 506 , 34 IPC has been registered in  P.S.  Sundernagar on the complaint of  Smt.  Kubja Devi  W/O  Late. Sh. Karam Singh R/O  Khil P.O. Sher Khoti Tehsil Sundernagar District Mandi (HP) that  on 31/08/16 Chet Ram  S/O Sh. Dharam Dass R/O  Khanyog & Sita Devi  W/O Sh.  Kishori Lal   entered in her courtyard and   beat her up   and they also threatened her with dire consequences.  HC Rajender Kumar No. 908  I.O. of PP Slapper is investigating the case.

9.      Case FIR No. 220/16 dated 01/09/2106 U/S 341,323,504,506,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the written complaint of Sh.  Kamal   Verma S/O Sh. Chaman Lal R/O  Lunapani PO  Bnagrotu  Tehsil Balh  District Mandi (HP) that   on 01/09/16 when he was    present near Bus Stand Mandi, in the mean time  Anu  & Lucky  came there, obstructed  his way  and beat him up  and  they also threatened him with dire consequences.  HC  Rajinder Kumar   No. 908  I.O. of P.P. Slapper is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

10. Case FIR No. 221/16 dated 01/09/16 U/S  39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in  P.S.  Sadar on the complaint of Sh. ASI  Ashok   Kumar  I/C P.P. Kotli that on 01/09/16  he was on patrolling  alongwith other police officials at  Kotli and during the course  of patrolling he recovered  8 Bottles of  Country Liquor  from the possession of  Sunil Kumar S/O Sh. Balak Ram  R/O  Banouan PO  Khalanu Tehsil  Kotli District Mandi (HP).  ASI  Ashok Kumar  I/C of PP Kotli is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL  INTIMIDATION

11. Case FIR No. 152/16 dated 01/09/16 U/S  341, 323, 504,  506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S.  Jogindernagar on the complaint of Sh. Gian Chand S/O Sh. Nandu Ram R/O  Dhelu Tehsil Jogindernagar District  Mandi (HP) that on  01/09/16    when he was  going  alongwith his wife, in the  mean time Giju,  Bablu, Simro Devi,  Suhsma Devi  Praveen Bibi, Ramjan   obstructed  their way and beat  upt them and also threatened them with dire consequences.  ASI Sukesh Kumar  I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF  CRIMINAL TRESPASS, HURT AND INTIMIDATION

12. Case FIR No.  153/16 dated  01/09/16  U/S  451,  323 504,  34  IPC has been registered in  P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Smt. Sushma  Devi W/O Sh. Bablu Ram  R/O  Dhelu Tehsil Jogindernagar District Mandi (HP) that   on  01/09/16 when she was present  in her home, in the mean time  Gian Chand, Gita Devi, Sunil Kumar, Monu  all resident of  Dhelu Tehsil  Jogindernagar  District Mandi (HP) entered in her courtyard and  beat her up and  she sustained injuries.  HC  Rajmal  No. 875  I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF  ROAD ACCIDENT

13. Case FIR No. 154/16 dated 01/09/16 U/S 279, 337  IPC has been registered in P.S.  Jogindernagar  on the complaint of Sh. Shyam  Singh S/O Sh. Bhikham Ram R/O  Thara PO  Tulah Tehsil  Lad-Bhrol District  Mandi (HP) that on 01/09/16 when he  alongwith his  friend  were  going to  Rains  by  his motor cycles and when  they reached near  Bharapatt in the mean time  a Jeep (HP29A-6785)  which was driven by   Shukradeen S/O Sh. Gulab Khan R/O  Samaud PO Balh Kwar Tehsil  Lad-Bharol came rashly  and negligently  and hit his motor cycle and  they sustained injuries.  ASI  Sandeep Kumar I/C of PP  Lad-Bharol is investigating the case.

ARREST OF ACCUSED PERSONS

14.  Accused Rakesh Kumar S/O Sh. Nikka Ram R/O VPO Kummi Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) aged 27 years old and accused Vishal S/O Sh. Ranjeet Singh R/O VPO Kummi Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (HP) aged 21 years old   have been arrested by the local police of P.S. Balh who were wanted in case FIR No. 236/16  dated  01/09/2016  U/S 366A, 354,506,34 IPC of P.S. Balh and both accused are being produced before the Ld. Court.

CHALLANS

15. 200   Challans were issued under M.V.Act and fine of Rs. 35,000/-  was recovered and 18  Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 1800 /- was recovered  during last 24 hours.
