CRIME REPORT 09 OCT.

                                        

 

CASE OF MURDER

1          Case FIR No. 281/2016 dated 08.10.2016 U/S 302 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the  complaint  of Ms. Poonam Bhardwaj D/O Sh. Bhavi Chand R/O Laka Ward No.2 Sarkaghat PO & Tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi (HP) stated therein that deceased Munish Kumar aged 18 years was her younger brother who was pursuing coaching of CA at Chandigarh.  Her father is on job at Chennai. On 07.08.2016 at 8.15 PM, Munish boarded the bus to Chandigarh and Arvind, Abhishek & Chandan went to see off. One Saurav Negi R/O Maseran was also in that bus. On  08.10.2016 at 6.14 AM, Saurav Negi called complainant Ms. Poonam to her Mobile  by his mobile phone  and told that Munish is not picking up his phone and Munish also told him to speak lie in his (Munish) home that he is also studying at Chandigarh with him. Saurav told her that Munish has not gone to Chandigarh. After that father of Saurav made call on Poonam and told that Saurav is under influence of drugs. Saurav told him that Munish was with him during the night i.e. 07.08.2016 and they both were at water Tank near PWD Rest House. At this, she along with Vivek Patial went to Water Tank to see Munish. They found that Mobile Phone and bag of Munish were laying back side of Water Tank and body of Munish was also laying there in the bushes. There were injuries on the neck, head and mouth of Munish. She has doubt that some unknown person has murdered her brother Munish. Consequently, case has been registered and being investigated by SI Karanjeet I/O PS Sarkaghat. After receiving the information, police team along with  SDPO/Dy.SP Sarkaghat rushed to the spot and team of RFSL also visited the spot and collected evidences. Post mortem of deceased is being conducted at CH Sarkaghat by the team of experts. The investigation of this case is being conducted on priority in just and fair manner. Main suspect involved in this case namely Saurav has been detained in this case and arrest of accused will be made accordingly.

 

 CASE   OF NDPS ACT

 

2          Case FIR No. 270/16 dated 08/10/16 U/S 20 of  NDPS Act has been registered  in P.S. Balh   by  HC Rajesh  Kumar No. 64  I.O. of P.S. Balh  that on 08/10/16 he was on patrolling along with other  police officials at  Kansa  Chowk and during the course of  patrolling he recovered 25  Gram Charas  from the possession of Narayan Das S/O Sh. Krishan Chand R/O Mandir Tanda PO Dhaban Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (HP). HC  Rajesh Kumar No. 64 I.O.  of  P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

 

 CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

 

3        Case FIR No. 271/16 dated 08/10/16 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Subhash Chand S/O Sh. Jai Singh R/O Khaban PO Thaltukhod Tehsil Padhar District Mandi (HP) that on 08/10/16 he  alongwith with  Virender Kumar, Chamaru Ram & Raj Kumar  were  going by car which was driven by  Chamaru Ram and when they reached near  Dolakh in the   mean time  driver of said car lost the control due to rash and negligent driving and met with an accident  as result all occupants who were boarded on said car sustained injuries.  HC Pawan Kumar No. 919 I.O.  of P.S. Balh is investigating the car.  

 

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

 

4          Case FIR No. 272/16 dated 09/10/16 U/S 341, 323, 506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of  Sh. Luddermani S/O Sh. Misru Ram R/O Tilu PO Brikhmani Tehsil  Balh District Mandi (HP) that on 09/10/16 Dina Nath  resident of same locality obstructed his way and beat him up and also threatened him with dire consequences.  HC Raj Kumar No. 49  I.O. of P.S.  Balh is investigating the case.

 

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT

 5         Case FIR No. 273/16 dated 09/10/16  U/S 341, 323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Meena Devi W/O Sh. Puran Chand R/O Kehnchadi PO Baggi Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that  on 09/10/16 Luddermani S/O Sh. Misru Ram R/O Tilu PO Brikhmani Tehsil  Balh District Mandi (HP)  obstructed her way and beat her up and she  sustained  injuries.  HC Dharmender No. 77  I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

 

CASE OF CRUELTY BY HUSBAND, HUSBAND'S RELATIVES AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

 

6          Case FIR No. 252/16 dated 08/10/16 U/S 498(A), 323, 504, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the  complaint of  Smt. Rekha Devi W/O Sh. Parkash R/O   Vill. Talsai PO Sihli Tehsil Sundernagar District Mandi (HP)  that she was married with  Parkash before one year ago . But soon after the marriage her  father-in-law  & mother-in-law started to harass her physically  and mentally  by demanding  dowry and   they also threatened her  with dire consequences.  ASI  Jeet Singh  I/C of PP Dehar is investigating the case.

 

CASE OF   PUBLIC SAFETY

7          Case FIR No. 253/16 dated 08/10/16 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in P.S.  Sundernagar  by  ASI  Jeet Singh  I/C of PP  Dehar that he was on patrolling   along with other police officials  at Dehar Bazar and during the course of patrolling he found that  a heap of raggery was laid on the  road which  was cause  obstruction to the  general public as well as traffic.  ASI  Jeet Singh  I/C of PP Dehar is investigating the case.

 

CASE OF RASH AND NEGLIGENT ACT

 

8          Case FIR No. 253/16 Dated 08/10/16 U/S 336,337 IPC has been registered  in PS Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Manoj Kumar S/O Sh. Netar Singh Vill. Banoun , PO Baloh, Tehsil Sadar, Distt. Mandi HP that on 08/10/16 at about  07:30PM he along with his cousin Pitamber were going to his home from Mandi by Pitamber's Motor Cycle (HP33C-1966) and when they reached at Nagani Jungle, he heard a sound of fire (bullet) and in the mean time some pieces of bullet shot his left arm. ASI Ashok Kumar I/C PP Kotli is investigating the case.

 

CHALLANS

 

  1.  239 Challans were issued under M.V.Act and fine of Rs. 29,900/- was recovered and 11Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 1300/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
