CRIME REPORT 21 OCT.

                

POLICE COMMEMORATION DAY

 

 1                 Today Police Commemoration Day observed at P.L. Mandi in which  Sh. Ajay Kumar Yada, IPS, W/IGP CR Mandi &  Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS,  S.P. Mandi readout the names of police personnel who sacrificed their lives during the period 01/09/2015 to 31/08/2016.

                    On this occasion Sh. Ajay Kumar Yada, IPS, W/IGP CR Mandi &  Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS,  S.P. Mandi,  Sh. Kulbhushan Verma, HPS,  Addl. S.P. Mandi and Sh. Hitesh Lakhanpan, HPS, Dy.S.P. (Hqrs) Mandi  along with about 90 police officials of Mandi Police  laid the wreath in the memories of the martyrs.

 

                    The day is observed every year to pay homage to those police personnel who laid down their lives at Hot Spring (Ladakh) while patrolling in our territory in an attack by Chinese Army on 21st October, 1959 as well as for those police personnel who laid their lives on duty all over the country during the past year i.e. 01/09/2015 to 31/08/2016. 

 

CASE OF ND&PS ACT.

  1. Case FIR No. 285/16 dated 20.10.16 U/S 15, 18, 20 ND&PS Act & 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in PS Balh by Inspr. Sanjeev Kumar SHO PS Balh that on  20/10/16 when he was on patrolling along with other police officials  and   during the course of patrolling he recovered 1KG 07 Gram  Charas(Cannabis),  68 Gms Opium,  1 KG 520 Gram  Poppy Husk( Bhukki)  and  52  Bottles of  English  Wine from the possession of Sohan Lal S/O Lobdia Ram R/O VPO Dhaban Tehsil Balh District Mandi HP. Inspr. Sanjeev Kumar Sood SHO PS Balh is investigating this case.     

CASE OF OBSTRUCTED WAY, CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION,

  1. Case FIR No. 111/16 dated 21/10/2016 U/S 341, 504, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS BSL Colony on the complaint of Smt. Dumni Devi W/O Sh. Shyam Lal R/O Village Tikker, PO Tehsil Nihri, District Mandi (H.P) that on  20/10/2016 at  about 11.30PM she was going to her home along with her husband from Nihri and they reached at place Tikker  in the mean  time Netar Singh, Yashwant and Mahinder Singh obstructed their way,  abused  them and also threatened them with  dire consequence. ASI Pushp Dev I/C PP Nihri is investigating this case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT.

  1. Case FIR No. 95/16 dated 20-10-16 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS Padhar on the complaint of Mr. Kali Dass S/O Sh. Tulsi Ram R/O Village  Karanjh, PO Bihun, Tehsil Jogindernagar, PS Padhar, District Mandi HP that on 20-10-16 time 04.00 PM  and  he along with his sister Vina Devi went towards Jogindernagar by  M/Cycle (HP29A-1538)  and When they reached at Bihun School in the mean time School Bus (HP29A-8261) of Mount Morya School came from Jogindernagar side   very  rashly and negligently  and hit his M/Cycle  as a  result  he sustained injuries. HC Sarwan Kumar No. 42 I/O PS Padhar is investigating this case.

CASE OF RASH AND NEGLIGENT ACT AND HURT, CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

  1. Case FIR No. 183/16 dated 20-10-016 U/S 279, 336, 323, 504, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS Joginder Nagar on the complaint of Sh. Hoshiar Singh S/O Sh. Rattan Chand R/O VPO Dohag, Tehsil Joginder Nagar, District Mandi HP that on 20.10.2016 time about 08.15 PM when he was going to his home  by his vehicle (HP 68-0572) and reached at Gugali Bridge, an alto car (HP 53A-0620) came rashly and negligently  and  tried to  overtake him  as a result car collided with his vehicle after that they beat him up, abuses and threaten him with the dire consequence.  ASI Sukesh Kumar I/O PS Joginder Nagar is investigating this case.

CASE OF PUBLIC SAFETY

  1. Case FIR No. 263/16 dated 20/10/16 U/S            283 IPC has been registered in PS Sadar by HC Jagdish Chand No. 36 I/O PP Pandoh of PS Sadar that on 20/10/16 when he was on Patrolling along with other police officials he found that  a Rehrai was laid on the road  by Yaspal  S/O  Inder Singh  R/O  Ubba PO Shiva Badar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) which  was causing obstruction to the general public as well as traffic. HC Jagdish Chand I/O PP Pandoh of PS Sadar is investigating this case.   

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT.

  1. Case FIR N0 264/2016 dated 21/10/16 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS Sadar on the complaint of Sh. Mehar Chand S/O Sh. Totu Ram, R/O Village Pattidhar, PO Thachi, Tehsil Balichowki, District Mandi. H.P  that  during  the intervening night  of 21-22/10/16  rider of Scooter (HP39A-2930) namely Kundan Lal told to him telephonically that he had fell down from the Scooter near Bijni Nala. When Mehar Chand reached at Bijni Nala he found that Kundan Lal  met  with an accident  and he sustained injuries. HC Ravi Kant No.02 I/O PS  Sadar is investigating this case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT.

  1. Case FIR No. 288/16 dated 20-10-16 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Ved Bahadur S/O Sh. Sarun R/O Village Abalgurta, PO Bhagwati Gavisa Ward No. 3 Dali District  Jhajarkot presently  residing at the house of Gain Chand R/O Village Galanu (Nabahi) that on 20-10-16  his niece Shanti Devi cross the main road at Gulanu (Nabahi),  in the mean time a HRTC Bus (HP25-0856)  which was driven  by Harwans Lal S/O Sh. Shyam Lal R/O Village Gulela  District Mandi came towards Sarkaghat very rashly and negligently and hit his niece  Miss Shanti Devi due to which she sustained injuries. SI Manmohan Singh I/O PS Sarkaghat is investigating this case.

CASE OF HURT

  1. Case FIR No 156/16 dated 21-10-16 U/S 325, 323 IPC has been registered in PS Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Bhup Singh S/O Sh Dharmu R/O Vill Koot, PO Nandi, Tehsil Chachiot Distt Mandi HP that on 15-10-16 at 4.30 PM  his son Tej Singh came in drunken condition,  abused and  manhandled   with him and beat him up due to which he sustained injuries. HC Hari Singh I/O PS Gohar is investigating this case.

CHALLANS

  1.  238   Challans were issued under M.V. Act and fine of Rs.  43,800 - was recovered and 20 Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 2000/- was recovered and  2 challan  were issued under  Mining Act and fine of Rs. 400/-  was recovered  during last 24 hours.
