PRESS NOTE ON 15/10/2016

                                   

 

1.         In view of forthcoming visit of the  Hon'ble Prime Minister of India on 18/10/2106 at Mandi, Sh. Ajay Kumar Yadav, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Central Range, Mandi briefed the all gazzetted officers in Kamaksha Hall P.L. Mandi who are  deputed for the VVIP duty.

            In this occasions Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS, S.P. Mandi, Sh. Kapil Sharma, IPS, S.P. SV&ACB, Mrs. Rani Bindu, IPS, CO 6th I.R.Bn., Sh. Omapati Jamwal, IPS, C.O. 3rd I.Rbn. Pandoh, Sh. Santosh Patial, IPS, CO 4th I.R.Bn. Janagberi, Sh. Raman Kumar Meena, IPS, S.P. L&S and 30 other senior officers of police department were present.

            Advance security liaison (A.S.L.) was carried out with the team of SPG  headed by I.G. Rank Officer of SPG, D.C. Mandi & officers of other departments. Sh. Ajay Kumar Yadav, IPS Inspector General of Police, Central Range, Mandi will be overall incharge of security and law & order of said VVIP visit to be assisted by Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur,IPS, S.P. Mandi.

            Entire areas of VVIP Visit is divided into 13 sectors and all officers of all 13 sectors have been briefed by the W/IGP CR Mandi elaborately on security, traffic arrangements  and law & order issues today.   

            Necessary directions were issued by the I.G. during said briefing   to keep proper surveillance on the crowd carefully during the public meeting and also keep eyes on the suspects and miscreants.  He further directed to   maintain sharp vigil, to check the hotels, sarains, dbhabas & intensify/improve the checking on barriers established for VVIP visit duty in their respective sector. All officers were  directed to lay special nakkas & patrol the entire areas of their respective sectors. Check out the vehicles properly and maintain the law & order properly and also regulate the traffic smoothly in their sectors as deployed for the VVIP duty. Special attention is to be given to higher reaches/hilly terrains, buildings and crowded areas. Traffic plan was also elaborately discussed.  

Appeal:-

                        Mandi Police request to the general public that kindly not to bring  baggages, coins, electronic items, water bottles, flammable items etc. with them while coming to the public rally of the hon'ble Prime Minister of India on 18/10/2016 at Paddal.  

CHALLANS

2.      193 Challans were issued under M.V.Act and fine of Rs.  24,400 /- was recovered and  2 Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 200 /- was recovered and 3 challans were issued under Mining Act and fine of Rs. 2800/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
